The ever-growing network of physical objects that mark an IP address for the internet connectivity as well as the communication that takes place between Internet-enabled systems, devices and these objects is none other than Internet of Things (IoT). It is regarding connecting devices over the internet and letting them talk to applications, us and each other.
Through Internet of Things (IoT), kitchen appliances, cars and even heart monitors can all be connected and day by day many devices are joining the list. The concept of IoT was invented by Peter T. Lewis in September 1985. It was invented in a speech delivered by him at a U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Over the next five years, about $6 trillion will be spent on Internet of Things solutions.
